The topic of the research is to investigate the position of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Islam. This research will seek to find the place and value of Al-Aqsa Mosque in the verses of Holy Quran and the hadiths of Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), and it will examine its devotional and worship aspects. Since the issue of Al-Aqsa Mosque has long been discussed and debated between Muslims and Jews, and in some cases, Jews are given the rightful place. And the important issue I want to review is that the issue of Al-Aqsa Mosque has been a matter of dispute between Muslims and non-Muslims, including Jews and Christians, throughout history. The method used in this research is a descriptive and analytical method based on Shariah and scientific sources based on library and documentary studies. The researcher in this research has obtained the following results: Al-Aqsa Mosque was the first Qibla of Muslims and the place of travel and ascension of the Prophet of Islam PBUH, this journey between Masjid al-Haram and Masjid Al-Aqsa creates a profound Islamic bond, and the reason for this is the sanctity and virtue of the sanctuary and the environment. Masjid Al-Aqsa is one of the three great and virtuous mosques. The hadith of the Prophet of Islam PBUH encouraged people to travel there. Also, the Prophet of Islam PBUH considered the land of Al-Aqsa Mosque to belong to his followers and said that there will always be a group of Ummah who follow the truth. And their enemies they will be defeated and they are in Jerusalem and its surroundings.
