Farah province is one of the few provinces that has been extremely important in the current borders of Afghanistan and also in the vast land of old Khorasan. The change in the geography of the war and the supply of supplies in the military and political field added to the value of this region, which is the basis of this research. The purpose of this research is to know the exchange of power in Farah Province; From the Timurid era to Nader Afshar, it is with a geographical and logistical approach in the military and political fields. In this research, the library method (scientific-promotional) based on the specialized information of experts and writers of contemporary history of Afghanistan and Orientalists has been used. The basic questions include the geographical role of Farah on food and grain supplies in power exchanges and the political and military play of Farah's rulers in political changes. One of the important features of Farah province; Its role has been in the field of military supplies in different eras, which is due to the natural geography of this province in providing food and grain needed by soldiers and livestock; Also, Farah Province was an excellent base for financing the military force, which played the greatest role in political change in the governments of the Timurid era until Nadir Afshar.
