Abstract

This study is devoted to clarify the worldview of Professor Gul Pacha Ulfat in his works and thoughts. Professor Gul Pacha Ulfat is considered to be a famous thinker, politician and outstanding writer among the contemporary writers of Pashto language and literature. The worldview concepts revolve around the thoughts of every writer and songwriter. Worldview discusses one's beliefs about the creation of the world, and relates it to the ideas that one believes to guide human society. Without clarification of that part, the problem is that a writer, songwriter, and politician’s purposes are not well-addressed. If the researchers have presented ideas and principles of special social life of the society of any such a person, his thoughts must be under analysis along with his worldview. The value of this topic is that it explores the worldview of a famous writer, songwriter and thinker. The purpose of the research is to clarify the worldview of Ulfat’s thoughts along with the main axis of his art that can be mentioned to the readers as well. This study is based on the library and textual analysis. So that, Ulfat’s worldview is found out in both his songs and prose. It is concluded that he had Islamic worldview, and he worked to spread and develop this view to the humanity.
