Abstract

His name is Khawaja Muhammad, according to the traditions, he was given the surname (Bangash), and he was a poet in his youth, who came to Peshawar to acquire knowledge at a young age. His Dewan (1965) was edited by Ghami Jan Paraishan Khattak and published by Peshawar Pashto Academy. In the first page Mr. Mawlana Abdul Qader, later Mr. Ghami Jan Paraishan Khattak wrote the preface (introduction). Then Mr. Kheyal Bukhari has a writing under the title of (Several Sayings). For these reasons, and the high poems of the Diwan, which is a very valuable Diwan, in this article. An attempt has been made to review the editing of the Diwan of Khawaja Muhammad Bangash and shed light on his life. My type of research was bibliographic research and my method is descriptive and analytical. Professionally, students, professionals and enthusiasts are provided with new material on text writing. The readers of the article will be informed about the Diwan of Khawaja Muhammad Bangash, and it's editing. According to contemporary textual research, the introduction of this book, taking it from the original manuscripts, selecting the method, content, description of difficult words and so on have other problems. This Diwan is a valuable work in Pashto Language and Literature. Therefore, it is requested that this book be edited and published once again based on the principles and standards of contemporary textual research.
